Harford County Housing Market October 2017
October was still a strong real estate market for buyers and seller alike.
Compared to the same month in 2016, the total sold dollars were up 9.46 % and the number of units sold were up 10.26%. The average listed price was relatively unchanged even though the average days on the market was reduced to 62.
The active inventory declined even further to 984 properties, which is a 17.86 % reduction from this month in 2016. There was a slight increase of new listing during the month and an increase of 17.28 % of properties gone under contract compared to 2016; however, this means there is only a 3.3-month supply of available properties.
Mortgage interest rates remain very low and unemployment in the County has also dropped to under 4.3 %. Businesses are expanding, and the stock market keeps going up.
